Verifying Your Email Address

After you sign up for Varai Sprints, you need to confirm that the email address you used belongs to you. This is a one-time step that protects your account and makes sure notifications reach the right inbox. The verification page handles both halves of the flow: showing you that an email has been sent, and finishing the verification when you click the link.

When you land on this page

You will reach the verify-email page in two situations:

  • Right after signing up — the URL includes your email address, and the page shows a "Check your email" confirmation.
  • After clicking the link inside the verification email — the URL includes a secure token, and the page starts verifying automatically.

The page handles both modes on its own; you do not need to do anything different.

Right after signing up

The "Check your email" confirmation screen shows:

  • The email address we sent the link to (partially masked for privacy).
  • Tips on what to do if the email has not arrived — check spam or junk, double-check the address, and remember the link expires in 24 hours.
  • A Resend Email button that sends a fresh verification link to the same address.
  • A Back to Sign In button.

Leave this screen open, switch to your inbox, and look for the email from Varai Sprints with the subject "Verify your email address". Click the Verify my email button inside.

When you click the verification link, Varai Sprints opens the verify-email page with your token and starts verifying automatically. You will see one of three states:

  • Verifying — a spinner and the message "Please wait while we verify your email address..."
  • Success — a green check, a welcome message, and a 5-second countdown before you are redirected to your dashboard (or onboarding, if you have not completed it yet). Click Continue to skip the countdown.
  • Verification Failed — a red icon, an explanation of what went wrong, and troubleshooting tips.

On success, Varai Sprints signs you in automatically — you do not need to enter your password.

What to do if verification fails

If the page shows "Verification Failed", check the suggestions on screen:

  • Use the most recent verification email. Older links become invalid as soon as a new one is sent.
  • If you pasted the link manually, make sure the entire URL was copied — a missing character will break the token.
  • Request a new verification email if the link expired (they are valid for 24 hours).

The failure screen offers two buttons:

  • Resend Verification Email — sends a new link.
  • Back to Signup — returns you to the sign-up flow if you want to start over.

Tips

  • Verify your email as soon as possible after signing up — many features require a verified address.
  • If you no longer have access to the email you signed up with, contact your administrator; they may be able to update the address or help you recover the account.
