Resetting a Forgotten Password

If you cannot remember your Varai Sprints password, you can ask for a reset link to be emailed to you. This page walks you through the flow and explains what to expect at each step.


Opening the forgot-password page

  1. Go to the Varai Sprints sign-in page.
  2. Below the sign-in form, click Forgot password?

You can also go straight to /auth/forgot-password if you have the link.

The page shows a short welcome message and a single field labelled Email address.


  1. Enter the email address you use to sign in.
  2. Click Send Reset Link.

The button shows a loading spinner while Varai Sprints processes your request. You should see a confirmation screen within a few seconds.

Safe messaging

For security, the confirmation is shown whether or not the email address is on file. This prevents attackers from learning which emails have accounts. If you do not receive an email, check that you entered the right address.


After you submit the request

Once the request succeeds, the page switches to a Check your email screen that shows:

  • A confirmation message with the email address you submitted.
  • A notice that the reset link expires in 24 hours.
  • A Back to Sign In button to return to the sign-in page.

Open your inbox, find the email from Varai Sprints (check spam or junk if you do not see it), and click the Reset password button inside. The button takes you to a secure reset page where you can choose a new password.


Choosing a new password

On the reset page, you will be asked to enter and confirm a new password. The password must meet the organisation's password rules — typically at least 8 characters long with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Once you save the new password, you are redirected to the sign-in page and can sign in right away.


Tips and troubleshooting

  • No email after a few minutes? Check your spam or junk folder. Some organisations filter automated emails; ask your IT team to allow mail from the Varai Sprints domain.
  • Link says "expired"? Reset links are valid for 24 hours. Request a new one from the forgot-password page.
  • Link says "invalid"? This usually means you clicked an older reset email. Make sure you are using the most recent one.
  • Still cannot sign in? Contact your organisation's administrator — they can verify your account is active and your email address is correct.
