Your Profile Settings
Your profile contains your personal information, avatar, password, and notification preferences. These settings are personal — changes here only affect your own account, not other team members.

- Select Profile from the dropdown menu.
Or go to Settings → Profile.

Your display name appears on task cards, comments, assignee lists, and notifications.

Changing your password
- On the Profile page, click the Security tab.
- Click Change Password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter a new password.
- Confirm the new password.
- Click Update Password.
Password requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character (e.g.,
!,@,#)
A stronger password uses a mix of words, numbers, and symbols. Avoid common patterns like Password123! — use a password manager to generate a strong random password.
Notification preferences
Control which events trigger notifications and how you receive them.
In-app notifications
In-app notifications appear in the bell icon (🔔) in the top navigation bar.
| Event | Default |
|---|---|
| Assigned to a task or issue | On |
| Mentioned in a comment | On |
| Task status changed | Off |
| Comment on a task you created | On |
| Comment on a task you are assigned to | On |
| Sprint started or completed | Off |
Toggle each event on or off using the switches on the Profile → Notifications tab.
Email notifications
Email notifications deliver the same events via email.
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Assignment notifications | On |
| @mention emails | On |
| Weekly time summary | Off |

If you are receiving too many emails, start by turning off "Comment on a task you are assigned to" and "Task status changed". These are high-volume events that can be easily checked in-app.
