Managing Notifications
This page covers how to keep your notification inbox clean — marking notifications as read, filtering to find specific events, and adjusting which notifications you receive.
Opening the notification center
Click the bell icon (🔔) in the top navigation bar. A dropdown panel opens showing your recent notifications.
Marking notifications as read
Mark one as read
- Open the notification dropdown.
- Hover over a notification.
- Click the checkmark icon that appears, or click the notification itself to navigate to the item (clicking automatically marks it as read).
Mark all as read
- Open the notification dropdown.
- Click Mark all as read (link in the top-right of the dropdown).
All unread notifications are marked as read and the badge count clears.
Filtering notifications
Use the filter tabs at the top of the notification center:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | All notifications, read and unread |
| Unread | Only notifications you have not read yet |
| Mentions | Only notifications where you were @mentioned |
| Assignments | Only task/issue assignment notifications |
Opening the full notifications page
The dropdown shows your most recent notifications. For a full history:
- In the notification dropdown, click View all notifications.
- The full notifications page opens with a complete list and more filter options.
From the full page you can also filter by:
- Date range (e.g., last 7 days, last 30 days)
- Workspace
- Event type (comment, assignment, mention, status change, etc.)
Deleting notifications
To remove a notification permanently:
- Hover over the notification.
- Click the × (delete) icon.
- The notification is removed.
To delete all notifications at once, click Clear all at the top of the full notifications page.
Adjusting what you receive
To change which events send you notifications:
- Go to Settings → Profile.
- Click the Notifications tab.
- Toggle individual events on or off for in-app notifications and email notifications separately.
See Your profile settings for the full list of configurable events.
Unsubscribing from a specific item
If you are receiving too many notifications from a particular task or issue (e.g., a busy discussion thread), you can mute it:
- Open the task or issue.
- Click the Actions menu (three dots, top-right).
- Click Mute notifications.
You will no longer receive notifications for that specific item. You can unmute at any time by returning to the same menu.
Email unsubscribe
Every notification email includes an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it opens your notification preferences page where you can turn off that category of email.
This does not affect your in-app notifications — only emails.
Notification retention
Notifications are kept in your notification center for 90 days. After that they are automatically removed. Read notifications can be deleted manually at any time.
