Your Personal Task View

My Tasks is your personal workspace — a filtered view that shows only the tasks assigned to you, plus any pending actions other people have requested from you. It is the best place to start your day and stay on top of your own work.

Overview

Open it by clicking My Tasks in the left sidebar. The page opens with four stat cards at the top:

  • Total — every task assigned to you in this workspace
  • In Progress — tasks you have started
  • Overdue — tasks whose planned end date has passed
  • Pending Actions — action items assigned to you

Below the stats is the Pending Actions section (if you have any), then a toolbar with search, filters, sort, and a view toggle, then the task list itself.

Pending Actions

If someone has requested an action from you, it shows up in a collapsible Pending Actions block above the task list. Each row has:

  • The action title and a link to the parent task
  • The requester's name and optional due date
  • A Complete button (green) to mark it done
  • A Cancel button (red) to dismiss the action
  • A View button to open the task on its Actions tab

Browsing your tasks

The toolbar below the actions section has:

  • Search box — find tasks by title
  • Filters button (funnel) — filter by Sprint, Status, or Priority. Selecting multiple values for Sprint or Status broadens the filter; each priority you pick is a direct match.
  • Sort button — sort by Title, Status, Priority, Created Date, Planned Start, or Planned End, ascending or descending
  • View toggle — switch between List and Kanban

Active filters appear as chips below the toolbar. Click the × on any chip to remove it, or use Clear all.

List view

Each row shows the task ID, title, sprint, epic tag, status, priority, and any key dates. Overdue tasks get a red left border and an "Overdue by X days" label. Tasks due within two days get a yellow border and a "Due soon" label.

From each row you can:

  • Click the title to open the full task page
  • Click the eye icon to open a quick-view drawer for fast edits
  • Change the status with the inline status dropdown on the right

Kanban view

Click the Kanban icon to switch to a column-based board filtered to your tasks. Columns match your workspace's task statuses. Drag a card from one column to another to update status. Cards show the same urgency indicators as the list view.

Tips

  • Setting a planned end date on your tasks turns on the overdue and due-soon warnings.
  • Completing or dismissing an action from the Pending Actions block is faster than opening the task.
  • Filter by Sprint to focus only on the work for the current iteration.
