Workspace Settings
Workspace settings let you customize how your workspace looks, behaves, and integrates with the rest of your organization. Only workspace Admins can access settings.
Accessing workspace settings
- Open the workspace.
- Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar.
General settings
Workspace name and description
Update the workspace name or description at any time. Changes are reflected everywhere the workspace name appears.
Workspace icon and color
Choose a color or upload a small icon image to make your workspace easy to identify in the workspace switcher.
Notifications
Control which workspace-level events trigger notifications for members:
- Sprint started / completed
- Release created / updated
- New member added
Members can further customize their own notification preferences from their personal notification settings.
Default settings for new items
Set workspace-level defaults that apply when creating new tasks or issues:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Default assignee | Who new items are assigned to by default (leave blank for unassigned) |
| Default priority | The starting priority for new tasks (e.g., Medium) |
| Default status | The starting status column for new items |
Holidays and work week
Define the work week for your workspace (which days are working days) and add public holidays. These settings affect capacity planning in sprints.

Danger zone
The actions in this section are destructive or have major consequences.
Archive workspace
Hides the workspace from active navigation but preserves all data. You can unarchive at any time.
Delete workspace
Permanently deletes the workspace and all its data — releases, sprints, tasks, issues, comments, time logs, and attachments. This action cannot be undone.
Before deletion, you must type the workspace name to confirm.
